Upgrading Magnolia Gardens apartments Fire Alarm System

Magnolia Gardens

Built in 1990, the Magnolia Gardens apartments, located at 2450 Church Street, in Abbottsford, BC offers 30 homes to residents over the ages of fifty-five. Conveniently located near several amenities, stores, and restaurants, the complex includes elevators and a recreation center.

As the apartment building underwent its elevator upgrades, the fire alarm system needed to be upgraded alongside it as the current system was unable to accommodate for the changes.

Thanks to their long-standing relationship with the customers, the team at Legacy Fire and Safety were able to offer Maple Armor’s cost-effective solutions which proved to be ideal for this project.

The newly replaced fire alarm system now features Maple Armor’s compact FW106S single-loop control panel; the FW511 smoke detectors; the FW521 heat detectors; and the FW721 manual stations. The system also required the FW812 dual-input module, the FW831 relay modules, and the FW851 isolator modules. The system allowed for the existing horn/strobes to help the client save on costs.

We are pleased to hear how happy to clients are with their new system who love the sleek look of the new fire alarm panel. We would like to commend our partners at Legacy Fire and Safety for their great work!
