The Vélodrome Sylvan Adams – Centre Multisports Desjardins offers an flexible environment where athletes can practice their favorite sports activities year round. 250m indoor track, indoor asphalt pump track, multisport surfaces, 1200 sq. ft. weight room, spinning room, acrobatic zone, and many other disciplines are offered in this unique place! The Sylvan Adams Velodrome, the only velodrome in Quebec, is a major cycling center in North America with a mission to develop cycling, from initiation to the elite, by providing a unique sporting experience.
When Maple Armor was invited by the Bromont National Cycling Centre (BNCC) to collaborate in the major fundraising campaign for the construction of the indoor velodrome, it was clear to us that this was a project that deserved to be supported given the important impact it would have on youth, families, tourism and sports in North America. In collaboration with its local authorized distributor, Alarme Techno-Feu Inc., Maple Armor donated the fire alarm system and supported the project from conception to completion.
The new fire alarm system now includes the Maple Armor FW106 control panel, the FW511 smoke detector, the FW521 heat detector, the FW562C duct smoke detector and the FW722C manual station. The system also includes the FW811 input module, the FW812 dual input module, the FW831 relay module and the FW851 isolator module. Occupants will be notified in a fire situation with the FW971G horns and FW962G strobe horns.
