FireWatcher FW106 is an Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel designed for small to medium-scale facilities. It is ideally suited for both new and retrofit commercial, institutional, and industrial fire detection and notification applications. FW106 is a state‐of‐the‐art addressable fire control system that meets the requirements of UL864 10th edition and ULC S527. It supports up to 4 Addressable Signaling Line Circuits of 252 addressable devices / points per loop. It also has a capacity of 2 to 10 Notification Appliance Circuits and 4+1 form C dry relay contacts (4 relays are used for Fire Department connection). The FW106 has a 7’’ LCD with 800 X 480 resolution, 6 auxiliary function keys, and 9 LED indicators making it a highly intuitive fire alarm user interface. It can be connected to 109 remote Panels and Annunciators via an external network to form a fire emergency detection and notification network system.

The Intelligent Remote Compact Annunciator FW123 is designed to be used with the FW106 or the FW106S control panels. The LCD can display 8 simultaneous events. Users can browse more events by pressing the up/down buttons. The FW123 is connected to the FW106/FW106S series panels via the external CAN network and it is powered by an external 24 VDC power source from the panel. Up to109 FW123 remote annunciators can be connected.

The FW397 power supply and charger is a subassembly for the FW106 FACP (Fire Alarm Control Panel). It provides power supply output to the system (AMI, ALU, NOU, ROU, XNU, Addressable Loop Circuits, Notification Appliance Circuits, Relay output, Network circuits) with regulated 24VDC. The FW397 uses a microprocessor-controlled transfer circuit to switch the power supply for the system to standby batteries when AC power is off or low. It communicates to FW201 AMI to report fault conditions. The address (default is “1”) is set using the rotary switch on the board. It meets the UL864 10th Edition Listed standard and the ULC-S527 3rd Edition Listed standard.

The FW821 input-output module provides one 24VDC output and one feedback input monitor. The input line is monitored for open line faults and ground faults, and the contact must thus be wired with an end-of-line resistor. The output line is monitored for open lines, short-circuit faults, ground faults, and external 24VDC power source loss. It is a UL/ULC listed device according to UL864 and ULC-S527 for Fire Protective Signalling Systems for indoor use. When the output is activated the device red LED will indicate the event condition by blinking longer. When the feedback is activated the device red LED will indicate the event condition by blinking twice. The FW851 isolator module isolates the short point on the signaling line circuit (SLC) or Data Communication Link (DCL). The internal relay will be triggered to disconnect the line power where the short trouble is detected. The device’s yellow LED will indicate the trouble condition by turning steady on. A return to the normal condition will cause the internal relay to switch back to normal position and restore the line power, the device LED indicator will turn off. The FW851 does not occupy an address on the Fire Alarm Control Panel’s SLC/DCL, so no address programming is required.
