Maple Armor seeks to be an innovative provider of the fire detection and alarm systems. By researching and developing new products, we aim to offer innovative products and services to our customers, thereby creating value by solving challenging problems for them. This approach helps us expand our revenue and enhance our market position. Maple Armor serves as an interface platform for JB Group’s international business, high-end market, and advanced technology products.
OUR STORY
Founded in 2011, Maple Armor was established in the beautiful, technological hub of Brossard, Quebec, with the purpose of disrupting the fire alarm industry’s status quo. We provide cutting-edge addressable fire alarm systems and detection equipment as well as solutions for our North, Central and South American customers. We are excited to provide high quality and cost-effective options, with the reliability of Canadian engineering.
With a warm welcome from Investissement Quebec, the company gravitated towards vibrant and multilingual Montreal for its skilled workforce. In 2017, we opened our brand new 80,000 square foot facility in Brossard, Quebec, on Montreal’s south shore. It houses our Research & Development, Sales & Marketing, and Technical Support teams as well as our warehouse and quality control labs. With production lines expected to be up and running at our facility in 2022, we will be able to ensure the highest quality products while remaining competitive in the global marketplace.

Design and Development
Recruitment of engineers for product design and development.

Incorporation

Contruction Begins
Construction of the office and production plant in Brossard, on the south shore of Montreal.
2018
Product Launch

UL/ULC Approval of all Products.

Product line launched at the NFPA Show in Las Vegas in June 2018.

Addition of Products
Addition of several products to the Maple Armor line and the establishment of the local and international Sales teams.
